1. Shipping Coverage & Charges
We provide free shipping on all orders within India, regardless of the order value. There are no hidden delivery charges, handling fees, or surcharges at any point during checkout.
- Domestic Shipping: Free insured delivery across all serviceable pin codes in India (15,000+ pin codes covered).
- International Shipping: At this time, Sonu Bin does not ship internationally. We are working to expand our services globally in the near future.
2. Processing Time
After a successful payment or COD order confirmation, your order goes through the following stages:
- Order Confirmation: You will receive an order confirmation via WhatsApp, email, and SMS within 30 minutes of placing the order.
- Quality Inspection: Every item undergoes a final quality check, including hallmark verification, gemstone inspection, and weight validation. This takes 1 to 2 business days.
- Packaging: Your jewellery is placed in a premium luxury gift box, wrapped in protective padding, and sealed inside a tamper-proof outer courier bag.
- Dispatch: Orders are typically dispatched within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation.
3. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are calculated from the date of dispatch, not from the date of order placement:
- Metro Cities: Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune — 3 to 5 business days.
- Tier-2 & Tier-3 Cities: Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Bhopal, Patna, etc. — 5 to 7 business days.
- Remote & Rural Areas: Up to 7 to 10 business days depending on logistics partner accessibility.
Note: Delivery timelines may be extended during festive seasons, natural calamities, or unforeseen logistics disruptions.
4. Insurance & Transit Security
Given the high value of precious jewellery, every shipment from Sonu Bin is fully insured during transit:
- Full Coverage: If your package is lost or damaged during transit, you are entitled to a full refund or a replacement product at no additional cost.
- Tamper-Proof Packaging: All shipments are sealed in tamper-evident packaging. If you receive a package that appears opened or damaged, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately.
- GPS-Tracked Transit: Our logistics partners provide end-to-end GPS tracking of high-value shipments.
5. Delivery Verification & OTP
For the safety of your valuable purchase, we enforce strict delivery verification protocols:
- OTP Verification: A One-Time Password will be sent to your registered mobile number at the time of delivery. The delivery agent will request this OTP before handing over the package.
- ID Verification: The delivery agent may request a valid government-issued photo ID to confirm the identity of the recipient.
- Authorized Recipients: Packages can only be delivered to the buyer or a pre-authorized family member listed at the time of order.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched:
- You will receive a tracking link and AWB (Airway Bill) number via WhatsApp, email, and SMS.
- You can track your shipment in real time using the courier partner's tracking portal.
- For any tracking issues, contact our support team and we will provide live status updates.
7. Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery is unsuccessful on the first attempt:
- Our courier partner will make up to 2 additional delivery attempts on separate business days.
- If all 3 attempts fail (due to recipient unavailability, incorrect address, or refusal), the package will be returned to our warehouse.
- In such cases, we will contact you to arrange re-dispatch (shipping charges may apply for re-delivery) or process a refund after deducting logistics costs.
